Allison was lovely to deal with, both on the phone and in person. She changed my dates and fitted me in at short notice, which I really appreciated. The parking was the one snag. After a day out, I got back to find every space taken except the disabled spot, so I had to use that. I’m not sure how it happened, but assigning spaces to rooms might prevent it. Aside from that, it’s a handy spot in the northern suburbs, with Woolies just down the road, and the motel has what you need for a relaxing stay. I’d recommend it and stay again. Thanks, Allison!

I’ve stayed at Petrie Mill between housesits for a few years now, and the comfort and support have meant a lot to me. Allison was the first person I met there. Her warmth and the way she makes everything feel possible made me think she owned and ran the place. It’s no surprise Petrie Mill is a finalist. I hope they win. Best wishes, and thank you for all these years!

The beds were so comfy, and having a laundromat right there was tops. We came for a league comp, so being close to the venue was a big help. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and it was great to have delicious coffee and food on site. Woolies and a chemist are next door too. We feel lucky to have stayed here. Can’t fault the place.

For a budget stay, the room was fine, and despite being on the main road, it was quiet. There’s also a bar attached to the motel, which is handy. I only stayed one night. The room was a bit dusty and hadn’t been fully cleaned after the previous guest, since some old socks were still there. The bigger hassle was parking. There seemed to be more cars on site than rooms, and finding a space was difficult.

The room was clean and felt fresher than other places I’ve stayed. My stay was perfect, thanks to Alison and the staff. It’s an amazing motel, and I can see why booking ahead is needed. I’ll definitely be back.
