We paid nearly $400 for a one-bedroom unit for one night, and the stay felt pretty average. The fridge froze all our Christmas food and drinks overnight, and we couldn’t get a late checkout, even though it was Christmas. That wasn’t a deal breaker, but it would’ve been nice. The bathroom had no door, which was a bit awkward, but we managed. The after-hours key and instructions were easy to find. Point Samson itself is beautiful and the location was good, but there was no sea view, so I couldn’t give it five stars.

We’re Skye and Lilly, two Labradors travelling around Australia with Mum and Dad. We didn’t actually visit the resort, just the Deck Cafe there. We caught up with some travellers we’d met at Pardoo Station. Mum ordered an iced coffee that looked delicious, while we had water. We relaxed under the table as the humans chatted. Pretty cool spot.

The Manager was especially welcoming and kind. Our son had a high temperature, and she brought us Panadol. We’re really grateful for that, and the place is very family friendly. It was a lovely chance to reset, and we’ll definitely come back. Point Samson resort is gorgeous, with a beautiful pool and well-equipped rooms. There are heaps of towels, which is great because we use a lot.

The kids loved the pool, and the grounds were nicely cared for. Our room suited the family well, with plenty of space, a very tidy and clean feel, and really comfortable beds. We had a lovely stay at Point Samson Resort. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Thanks Sharon and team for such a great visit.

A brilliant place to stop if you’re travelling further north. The owners are friendly, the bed is comfortable, and everything was immaculate. The NW has some roughies, so it’s nice to treat yourself to a stay here. Definitely a gem.
