We had lunch with family and really enjoyed the whole visit. We shared several plates, tried a few desserts, and had a wine flight. Every dish tasted great and looked lovely, and it was fun to sample different flavors. The wine flight went well with the food. The setting has a fantastic backdrop, and the friendly, attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable.

We had a terrific experience and would love to return. Pep and Adam went out of their way to make our stay at Pomonal estate memorable, and Chef Dean is a real credit to the estate. Our spacious, comfortable, well appointed units had a lovely country outlook. We also enjoyed a sumptuous sunday lunch with a flyte of wine. We were very happy with our choices: pork belly, duck, salmon, and a charcuterie board. The meal was delicious.

We tried the wine, beer, and cider tastings over lunch, and it was all fabulous. The wines were divine, but the food was extraordinary, seriously so so good. Their smash beer was a standout!

We only stopped in for lunch. The friendly staff were accommodating, 4/5, and the place felt clean and crisp with good views. It badly needs sound buffers, though, so ambience gets 3/5. The food was fresh, clean, and tasty, but the cous cous was a bit salty and the flavors could have been more balanced. The lamb special had a delicious combination of flavors that worked well together, though the lamb itself was a little dry. The vegetables and flavors were above average, and it was an interesting journey of flavors. 3.5/5

We dropped into Pomonal Estate last Saturday for a quick wine tasting while in the Grampians, then stayed far longer than we’d planned. The atmosphere, live music, and quality food and drinks made it easy to linger. Pep and Adam deserve a special mention. The owners were welcoming and generous with their time, and the service was second to none. The wine and chocolate pairing was excellent, with the fortified Shiraz our favorite.
