We had a very quiet, comfortable stay and would definitely come back. The luxury spa suite was clean, tidy, and pleasant, with a small rose garden right outside the window that made a lovely morning view. We also spotted wild kangaroos, wallabies, and rabbits around the property. We were lucky the next door room was empty. These are Manor Rooms, so if the neighboring room is occupied, you may hear some noise. For a more private stay, Aurora Cottages are opposite the Aurora Manor Rooms. If you love nature, this is a great place.

The kitchen was absolutely perfect, and we had a brilliant three night stay in this stunning home. The kids especially loved the sauna and spa, and we enjoyed the serenity and beautiful sunsets. The giant chess board and mini golf were fun too, with plenty to do. A kayak or boat would be ideal for the lake. The large spa wasn’t working, and there were no instructions for the projector, DVD, or connecting the internet to the TV, but it wasn’t a big deal. We’ll be back 100%. The room was clean and had modern utilities, but sharing it with neighbors on our third night really spoiled the romantic getaway. We could hear them talking loudly and using the toilet, and they controlled our hallway light. The driveway was also full of water-filled potholes, and I wouldn’t take a sedan or small car through it. It seems suitable only for a 4WD. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you don’t want to hear your neighbors’ every move.

Be cautious about booking. Two days after we reserved the room and arranged time off work, the owner messaged to say it was no longer available and asked us to withdraw our booking. Yet the same room and the whole property still showed as available online. Not worth the hassle.
