The river is amazing, with rapids that are really fun but still safe. We stay on a powered site, and there's loads of space. The camp kitchen is clean and has plenty of table space. I had to include the sunset over a nearby paddock, too. Bright and Mount Buffalo are both within a good radius. We come every year, love it every time, and always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend ☺️

The owners were friendly and quick to manage any issues. We’ll definitely be back! Over New Years we camped in the unpowered ‘Paddock’ sites, which had plenty of room and lovely views, and the amenities blocks were clean. The kids cooled off in the Buckland River, and the kiosk's ice creams and slushees kept them happy on hot days. It’s easy to bike into Porepunkah for coffee, pop into Bright, or drive up Mount Buffalo to Ladies Bath Falls. The park is well located, too.

It was a pretty quiet weekend, but I’d book ahead before the summer period fills up. We stayed with a friend and my daughter on a powered caravan site and were impressed by how big it was. The level ground and well-kept gardens were lovely, and it’s right on the riverbank. There are several camp kitchens to choose from, and the amenities were clean and stocked.

We return every year because the park is well maintained and has access to both Buckland and ovens river, including a lovely deep swimming hole. The sites are roomy, with plenty of shade. It’s great for riding into either porepunkah or bright, and there’s no traffic noise.

This was our second stay. Last year we had a powered site; this time we chose a cabin, which had all the basic amenities we needed. Being close to the playground was a bonus for my son. The room has a split system, though it takes a while to warm up, so we brought a portable heater too. Nothing to fault, really. Great place in an amazing location!
