Comfort Inn

A calm, welcoming feel made our one night stay really nice. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I'd definitely recommend staying here when visiting Port Arthur.

The dining room meals were very good, and the views of Pt Arthur from there were stunning. It's a 3 star motel and the only one in Pt Arthur, but I'd recommend the accommodation. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

The parma was a real letdown. The chicken was thick and cooked well, but the ham looked like a small amount of shredded store bought stuff, and the chips were pale and barely cooked. We'd been recommended the place for dinner, with a ghost tour nearby afterwards, so I called to reserve a table. The staff member pressured us to leave our accommodation immediately if we wanted one saved and made it sound like she was doing me a “favour.” We felt rushed into deciding without knowing what other options we had. When we got there, only around four tables were occupied, with several empty tables and no reserved signs. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Our room looked out over part of the Port Arthur historical site, and the restaurant has the same amazing view through floor to ceiling windows. The rooms are "rustic," which is part of their charm. Great location near the site, and the reception and restaurant staff were really good.
