Dongara Tourist Park

Everyone on the team, from reception to grounds and housekeeping, was friendly and easy to approach. The park is in a handy spot, a short way from South Beach and Port Denison's waterfront. It's beautifully clean, the amenities are well laid out, and the BBQ area is really pretty. This is our new go-to in Dongara!

We had a comfortable stay in a stunning town. Our unpowered site, number 8, suited our fold-out camper and was mostly sheltered from the wind. The walking beach and town were easy to reach, and the facilities were great, especially the lovely BBQ area. Bathrooms were very clean, and lots of small thoughtful touches made a difference.

The leafy BBQ area is lovely and shaded, and the trampoline thingy was cool too. Shrubs between the powered sites make the place feel green and welcoming, and the facilities were good. I also liked the patterned fences and colourful cabin walls around this gorgeous caravan park. I have a physical disability, so after walking to the office and finding it closed, having a comfy table and chairs to rest at while I waited made my day. I've never had that sort of thoughtfulness at a caravan park before. A baby mudlark even joined me on the chair opposite, preening and chatting, which was a lovely little bonus. After I called the 24-hour phoneline, admin rang back promptly. Josh found us a powered site at the last minute, so I didn't have to wait until opening time. Big thank you, DTP.

This was our second visit to the Big 4 Port Denison chalets, and we enjoyed every minute again. The beachfront chalets have everything needed for a comfortable stay and are very clean and well maintained. Office staff were lovely, and check-in was quick. We'd certainly recommend them to travellers and hope to be back in the near future.
