By The Sea Port Douglas

Laney, Cole, and all the women working here were such an asset. They were kind and keen to help with anything during our stay. There were lots of things to use too, like bikes, floaties, games, and more. My little sister and I had the best time over our two nights. The rooms were clean and lovely, just a stone’s throw from the beach and a short walk up the street to dining. We’ll definitely be back!

We especially liked being able to borrow bikes, coolers, beach chairs, and other equipment for free. Communication was prompt and clear, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous five days in a lovely superior sea view room, and made good use of the balcony BBQ. The location was great too. I’d definitely recommend it, and suggest booking direct.

The room was really well equipped and had everything we needed to feel at home. It was clean, and the location at the end of the main street was perfect, with free off-road parking. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Reception looks cluttered, but that’s because there’s so much free stuff to borrow, including bikes, towels, beach toys, exercise weights, games, and books. The first impression is dated, and the pool looks a bit sad and tired. Still, it was a great place for our family. I’d highly recommend it as a base for sightseeing in the area.

The owners were friendly and accommodating, the service was amazing, and I loved the pool. We even rode their bikes on the beach. It was a more delightful stay than any of the other five star accommodation I’d booked before. Everything was spot on. If I come back to Port Douglas, I’d definitely stay here again!
