What made the week here so much easier was the staff. I had booked two nights while visiting my son at the nearby Prince of Wales hospital, then extended day by day. When he was discharged, they found us the little apartment they also have, at short notice. Everyone was lovely, helpful, and friendly. The kitchen is fantastic and meant I didn't have to spend much eating out. There's also a convenient laundry downstairs. My room was clean and comfortable. The light rail is a few minutes away on foot, and Coles and other shops are about five minutes away. Everything we needed was nearby, including a beautiful beach about a 20-minute walk away. I can 100% recommend this hotel.

We stayed around New Year's Eve. Even booking in early November, this place felt quite expensive, though we couldn't find anything closer to downtown at an affordable price. The neighborhood was quiet and cozy, with cafes nearby and Coogee beach a pleasant 20-minute walk away. The tram gets you to the city center in about 30 minutes.

I was in the area for a course at the nearby hospital and, although I normally stay in the CBD, I'm glad I chose Perouse. It's very handy for the hospital and the light rail makes occasional trips into town easy. The quiet away from the city was welcome, and Coogee beach is a 20-minute walk downhill. I also enjoyed the walkway up to Bondi on a sunny afternoon off. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff were helpful. My room was spacious and clean, with room to work and relax, and the bed was comfortable. I'd recommend it to friends taking a course nearby or looking for somewhere near the beach with easy city access.

I'm here every two weeks when I come to Sydney for cancer treatment at Prince of Wales Hospital. Being so close has made things much easier. Otherwise, the hours of travel back and forth would be exhausting, costly, and overwhelming while going through treatment. It's also convenient for nearby restaurants and little spots. I can catch up with friends in the evening, which I otherwise wouldn't get the chance to do.
