We've stayed in several different room types over three visits, and every one has been wonderful, with private plunge pools, spacious living areas, full kitchens and lovely terraces. The apartments are beautifully styled, immaculate and just a few steps from Macrossan Street and Four Mile Beach. The team are always welcoming and helpful. Coconut Grove is now our regular place in Port Douglas, and we'll be back.

We stayed in a Terrace Pool Deluxe Apartment and it was such a treat. There was loads of space, lovely design, a private plunge pool, spa bath, BBQ area and gorgeous mountain views from the terrace. Coconut Grove is right on Macrossan Street, just steps from Four Mile Beach. The whole stay felt easy and indulgent, and we're already planning another one. Such a luxurious tropical getaway.

The manager, Ali, was lovely, always smiling and full of useful local knowledge. Apartment 401 was well equipped, had great views and its own rooftop pool. Coconut Grove is perfectly placed for exploring Port Douglas. We were there for three nights and found it excellent in every way. Definitely recommend it. Phil & Caroline Kemp, England

We had a beautiful apartment and the staff were really friendly. Coconut Grove is very well placed near 4 mile beach and at the beginning of the road of restaurants leading to the marina. If we come back to Port Douglas, we wouldn't look anywhere else.

The welcome cheese board and crackers were a lovely touch. The apartments are clean, spacious, comfortable and well furnished, and everyone on reception, maintenance and cleaning was lovely. It's on Macrossan Street at the quieter end, with the beach only 30 seconds away. I've travelled extensively in Australia, and this may be the best apartment complex I've stayed in.
