It was an easy walk for a bit of exercise, about four minutes to the beach and maybe ten to the shops. The garden was nicely kept and had a lovely tropical look. We didn’t use the pool, so I can’t comment on it. Our apartment at Coral Apartments was modern, spotless, and very spacious for two. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had fabulous water pressure. We enjoyed our short stay so much that we hope to return next year.

The pool was beautiful and warm, and the receptionists were so friendly, helpful, and full of local knowledge. They were always happy to lend a hand, and their kindness made a lovely place even better. Our apartment at coral apartments was clean and had all sorts of convenient little touches. We had such a great time and couldn’t recommend Coral apartments more highly!

The outside of the complex is well maintained, and the pool area was pleasant. The unit was roomy, all its appliances worked, and there were plenty of kitchen utensils. The kitchen appliances are old, but that was fine. The budget price reflects the apartment’s age, to be fair. The letting agents were positive and sympathetic about our feedback, but couldn’t move us elsewhere during high season. This review is only about unit 304, managed by Seascape Holidays, as there are several apartments in the complex. The exterior photos look idyllic, but that wasn’t our experience inside or with the location. Though advertised as being on Blake Street, unit 304 faces Davison Street, just four metres away. It’s the town’s only entry and exit road, so trucks, tourist buses, tradie utes, motorbikes, and cars all pass the balcony and bedroom window. There’s no noise attenuation, and we found the traffic relentless. At times it was too noisy to sit on the balcony, and opening the windows for ventilation wasn’t really an option. The apartment also needs a thorough clean. The oven was grimy inside and out, and the bathroom was tired, with mould on the shower glass and dirty door fixtures, mirror, and taps that all need replacing. The exhaust vent was clogged with fluff and grime. These are simple, cheap fixes, but their condition reflects poorly on the owner. We were disappointed with the location, constant road noise, and presentation. The other units may be different.

A great place to stay, with all you need to be comfortable. We loved the pool, and the sea isn’t far away either.
