The people made my two-night stay special. Staff and other guests were open, friendly and welcoming, and the relaxed, family-like feel made it easy to talk to each other. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. I really wish I’d stayed longer, and I’d definitely come back and recommend this hostel.

There are plenty of little spots to either hang out with people or take some time to yourself, and the place is clean and organised. The team are kind and welcoming, each with their own personality, and they make you feel included for however long you want to stay. A really relaxed, soulful hostel where everyone’s welcome.

I couldn't get a bed because the hostel was full, but I met Emma at a burger shop and she invited me over for dinner. People there were so friendly that I felt like I was part of the family straight away. I stayed until midnight playing pool with the other guests before heading home. It was such a lovely place, and I’ll book it next time I’m in Port Macquarie.

The hostel had a homely feel, and we met some cool travellers while passing through Port Macquarie. The kitchen was decent too. Some of the facilities seemed a bit tired and could do with a refresh. It also felt more set up for longer stays than other hostels I’ve used, though that might have been because we visited in winter.

The team made this short stay feel special. Everyone was so friendly, and the place has the coziness of a shared apartment instead of a standard hostel. It’s a great fit for a few days or a longer visit.
