The staff were friendly, and checking in late was easy. For the price, I don't think there's a better option. I'm fussy about cleanliness, but even by my standards the motel was quite clean. The room had clean bedding and towels, a microwave, kettle, and fridge with milk. Soundproofing wasn't great, though that was acceptable, and it was quiet at night.

The exterior shouldn't put you off. This is an old little motel on the way into Port Macquarie, but the rooms were immaculate and clearly newly renovated and nicely presented. The owner/manager was very friendly, and I appreciated finding real milk in the fridge instead of UHT.

The rooms were spacious and really nice, and looked newly refurbished. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen area had all the essentials.

For the price, it's a great deal. We had three soft, comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen with milk, and a bathroom with strong water pressure. The AC was a little noisy and sound carried badly, but the price was really reasonable.

On a road trip to the Gold Coast, we stayed here for the night. The room was clean, spacious, and a great price, with strong shower pressure. It's a handy little inn for a quick stop, and I couldn't complain or expect much more for a road trip stay.
