The views from our apartment were sensational and made the stay even better. Mantra The Observatory is comfortable and in a quality location close to Town Beach, so it was easy to enjoy the coastline and nearby walking tracks. Our room was spacious and very clean. I’d definitely recommend it for a Port Macquarie visit.

We made good use of the pool, spa and gym, and secure parking was reassuring. The staff were helpful and professional, and check-in and checkout were easy. Our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable, with modern furniture, a useful kitchen and a balcony where we could enjoy the fresh air. The beds were comfortable too. Best of all, Mantra The Observatory is close to the beach, coastal paths, cafes and town, so we hardly needed the car. It was a relaxing stay, and we'd happily return.

The apartment was very spacious, and the pool was nice. But we were there for just one night and found no air conditioning in the rooms, no bottled water and internet too slow to watch TV. That was a bit disappointing.

The staff were friendly, easy to reach and helpful when we needed them. Housekeeping only came every couple of days, which gave the place a more private, homey feel. There isn't a restaurant or licensed venue in the hotel, but there's a good cafe downstairs for breakfast and coffee, and plenty of restaurants within walking or driving distance. Our room was spacious and clean, with a balcony looking out to the ocean. It was quiet despite being across from the beach, and the beach-suitable furniture made it easy to come back after a swim without worrying about the room. We'd certainly stay again.

The apartment was clean and spacious, and we'd stay there again next time we're in the beautiful Port area. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and opening bubbly on the balcony while looking at the beach and exchanging gifts was just perfect. The main street, with lots of dinner options, is a short walk away. The cafe next door was handy for breakfast, and we got a 5% discount as guests of The Observatory.
