The view from our suite was outstanding, with both the river and ocean in sight. Watching dolphins from the room felt genuinely special. I chose the hotel for its closeness to the Port Macquarie Half Marathon, and it made race day easy. My wife could watch from the suite without leaving the hotel. The room was comfortable and well appointed, as you'd expect for the price. The pool area could get noisy with kids, and the festival's early loudspeaker announcements and music, from around 6:30am until midday, might bother guests not attending. They didn't affect us given why we were there. We were very happy overall and would gladly stay again for an event or a view.

I'm a fussy traveller and have stayed in lots of hotels and resorts, but this one had a really nice feel. Our refurbished king room with ocean view was immaculate, with stylish modern furnishings and a very comfortable bed. The balcony was a wee bit dated, though it didn't bother us. That view was amazing. Loved our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

We were only here for one night on a road trip, but the hotel was outstanding. Marie and Nicole at reception were professional, polite and likeable, and gave us a few little perks that helped us feel welcome. The room was great, and the pool was incredibly clean and well maintained, with soft water. There's a nice little buffet in the morning with a beautiful view, and the location is outstanding. Parking costs $30, but it's no fuss. Forget the gym, the beautiful location and great weather make the outdoors your gym. Highly recommended for families.

The rooms are clean and newly renovated, and the hot water pressure is excellent. Customer service was friendly and quick. The pool has both shaded and sunny spots, and towels are provided. Parking is a little pricey at $30, but it's secure.

We've stayed here four times now, using it for a night to break up the Sydney to Gold Coast drive. The pool area is amazing, with a great temperature, a large spa and lovely water views. They provide pool towels, and there's a decent sized gym on site. The rooms have been refurbished since our last visit and look stunning and super modern. You can walk to basically everything. We'll stay again next time we're on the road.
