T's Tennis Resort

We stopped overnight on the way through to Brisbane, and T was so lovely. She suggested a better room for our family than the one I'd booked, gave us complimentary milk and water, and we had a nice chat. The place was clean, with air con and comfy beds. I'd highly recommend supporting this family business if you need a stopover.

We had to change our return date home unexpectedly and needed one night before driving back to Sydney. Bookings.com suggested this place, and since it was 1/1/26 and we couldn't find another option for just one night, we booked a family cabin. It cost $720 for the night because, we were told, that was the New Year's rate. The room was disgusting. There were stains on the walls and rugs, dust on the walls and windows and flying everywhere, and mould all over the blinds and behind the sofa. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and had hair from previous guests on them. There were holes in the blinds, no tissue boxes, no bins in the toilets, and no phone in the room to call reception. I cleaned it myself, but my daughters were coughing all night and I got a sore throat from cleaning. This is a health hazard and not suitable for families with little children. My husband tried to find the lady, but couldn't. She said charging double was normal. I asked for a refund and am still waiting. When we contacted bookings.com, she tried to deny the room was dirty and mouldy. We have all the evidence ready. For your family's health and safety, don't stay here. Book somewhere else.

The location, tennis court and pool were the good parts. But at $440 a night it wasn't worth it, especially with much nicer motels around. The TV didn't work, and each time a neighbour showered there was a constant high pitched squeal, starting at 6am. There were no power points beside the bed for medical needs and no soundproofing. The decor felt disjointed, like nobody had thought it through.

We paid for nothing. We'd made a booking, then were told our names weren't there. The staff member was extremely rude, told us not to call again and hung up while we were speaking politely. Completely unprofessional service. Her name was tie. Wouldn't recommend. 😭😭
