Even though Annesley House is right in the heart of Portland, it was very quiet. I could walk to shops and cafes, which made the location so handy. It's a beautifully restored Victorian mansion, with large, immaculate rooms furnished with antiques. Staying there felt like a unique experience, and I hope to return soon.

We stayed in the Wadmore Apartment on the first floor and found it comfortable and well equipped. The accommodation was stunning, we really enjoyed our stay and slept so well.

The Housekeepers Cottage was gorgeous, stylish, and comfortable, and we had our own little rose garden to enjoy. The shower was great, the beds were comfy, and there was a good coffee machine. Nicole met us when we arrived, was very friendly, and showed us how the door lock worked.

The ground floor Grande apartment was immaculate, with so many thoughtful little details that made us pause and enjoy the moment. The fireplace beside the bed was the kind of luxury we last remember from Fairmont St. Andrews in Scotland. The photos and description don't really do it justice. We had a quick getaway with my husband, and loved the humble, professional communication, the handy location for a wander around town, and the plenty of parking. Thank you, we'll definitely be back.
