Crestview Tourist Park

I reported the heating problem to reception during the day, but it wasn't properly fixed. Staff told me not to adjust the control because they'd installed a new one. Then the air conditioner stopped completely overnight. It was 0°C outside, and I spent the whole night freezing, even wearing every warm layer I had. It was one of the worst nights I've had, and the cold was unbearable. I nearly got sick, though thankfully I didn't. It felt like the seeds of a cold were planted that night. No guest should have to endure that in winter. I hope management takes the heating system seriously so future guests have a warmer stay. Never again.

The manager was very good and obliging, and booking was easy. I got a good price for two nights, and the WiFi was perfect. My Studio Cabin was opposite the Office and right by the boom gate, so people coming in late made it a bit too noisy for me, though I was close to the lovely Pool. The cabin was tidy, very clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. Great that it's Pet Friendly. Thank you.

Being close to Canberra was great, and reception were helpful when we needed to change things for family members. My family camped here for a week over Christmas, and I was pleased with how clean the bathrooms were. Thanks for helping us enjoy Christmas and our first week of holidays!

We visited Canberra for four nights with my partner and will book Crestview again when we return, which is every 3 to 4 years. Bruce runs the park with his lovely wife and was obliging throughout. He gave us lots of tips on where to eat, what to see and what to watch for around Canberra. With Queanbeyan's main street closed for roadworks, he also showed us how to get around town and bypass them. Our cabin on quiet Donald Street was well equipped and comfortable. The shower had good pressure and hot water, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C heated and cooled properly. The fridge, toaster and kettle looked nearly new. The ladies came in halfway through our stay with fresh towels and soaps, made the bed and tidied up. The cabin was very clean.
