We really enjoyed staying here. It was close to everything, and even though the weather wasn't great, we had a lovely time.

The house has a special place in my family. My great great aunt, Mary Ellen McMillen, built it, and I remember her from when I was a child. She died when I was in second grade. After that, it became our family holiday home and was rented to school teachers during the year until I was in my mid-'20's. I've stayed here several times and am looking forward to coming back in September. It's near the centre of Queenscliff, beautifully renovated, and costs less to rent than hotels nearby. Paul is friendly and accommodating, and it's the best place in town to relax.

I love how little you need to drive from Abaleen House. It's right in Queenscliff township, with local cafes, the beach and walking tracks close by for your puppy. It's my favourite pet friendly place, and it really feels like a home away from home.
