We were very pleased with our two-night stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the hotel felt welcoming. The staff were really friendly. It's a comfortable, very nice place, and we'd love to come back.

We stayed on Sunday 22 February. It's a comfortable motel, a little outside town, though that was fine since we had a car. There was nobody at reception when we arrived, so I called and Jackie explained how to get into our room. She'd emailed the instructions earlier, but we had no internet while driving on the West Coast and didn't see them. It was a shame about the constant rain, though that's the West Coast of Tassie for you. The motel restaurant was closed, so I can't comment on it. We went to the charming Empire Hotel instead, where the food was good and honest.
Good value for money. The rooms are clean and practical, and the attached restaurant shows that a place in a country town can still serve good food with good service. Try the pork skewers, masman, and green thi curry.
It was okay. The room was fairly clean, but the cleaning product smell was overpowering. The carpet is old and stained and needs replacing. I'd suggest swapping the fabric couch and bedhead for leather so they can be kept clean. I don't want to think about when that bedhead was last properly cleaned.
We spent three days here and liked the convenient location and nice rooms. Having laundry facilities on site was a real help. Jackie at the front desk was pleasant and helpful.
