The Village Surry Hills - Hostel

The kitchen was revolting, with moldy, leaking food in the fridge and scraps and dirt all over the place. The room was cramped to the point that a six-bed setup felt suitable for four at most. Beds weren't freshly made, and although several people came and went during our week there, the linen never got changed. The room wasn't vacuumed or cleaned once that week. Toilets and showers were dirty too, and one shower smelled of urine. Simply disgusting! 🤢

I spent the last three months at Little drifter, and it really felt like a home away from home. There are lots of people staying long term, so it works well if you're here for a while. The staff are friendly and there are nice events happening. Thanks, everyone. I'm going to miss little drifter!

This was my second time staying at Little Drifter Surry Hills, and I'll be back again. The accommodation and facilities are great, and Cameron at Reception helped with anything I needed and made me feel like part of the family. The staff are great too.

Surry Hills was a lovely neighbourhood, and the hostel was really clean, a big improvement on the one we stayed at before in Sydney. Late at night there was a big spider beside my bed, and Dario kindly helped get it out. Thanks again, haha.
