We had a great meal at the RSL, and enjoyed Deniliquin and its points of interest. The Laughing Chicken was unfortunately the worst takeaway we’ve ever had. We stayed six nights in our own hybrid camper van, originally paying for two and then staying three, before adding another set of days over the NSW June long weekend. That meant an extra cost and the price went up. It was lovely and quiet at first, then much noisier over the weekend, as expected. The amenities were good and the staff were great. The park is convenient to town, and yes, we’d stay again.

The safe swimming beach on the Edwards River is a highlight, just a short walk from the park entrance. We spent three weeks here, returning after a few years away, and it didn’t disappoint. There’s much more green grass now and the sites are large. The amenities have been refurbished since the floods a few years ago, and they’re modern and clean. The staff are lovely and friendly. There were a few ratbag kids over New Year, but staff handled them well. Thank you!

The town and its parks were beautiful, and the staff were lovely. There were about ten thousand million corella birds for company, and we had a great time in a great spot. Mcleans beach was just across the track, the Bondi of the interior. Millie the dashhound wasn’t quite as convinced, though she loved the place.

The facilities were first class, and getting to Maclean Beach for fishing was great. We spent just under a week in our caravan. The staff were superb throughout, with a great sense of humour and friendly interactions. We even ran into the young receptionist in the town Centre, and they said hello.

The powered sites had lovely green grass, and we really enjoyed our five nights. The only downside was the water taps: the washers on all the connections our hoses were attached to needed replacing, as they kept leaking. The amenities were modern and clean, and all the staff were friendly. It’s an easy walk into town, and arranging the RSL courtesy bus for dinner and the races was simple. It was a relaxing stay, and we’ll be back.
