Central Jetty Motel

The pool was great, and the shower and toilet facilities were fine, but the room was filthy. It hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests, and when I asked for the bed to be made, they used the same dirty sheets. The floor was dirty too. They didn't service the room each day, so I had to ask for toilet paper and clean towels. A real shame, since the premises are nice enough for the price.

The service was good, but there was a huge hole in the bathroom window. When I mentioned it at reception, I was told it was a reasonable complaint but nobody could see through the window, so it was okay. The fridge was broken too and froze everything even with the temperature turned down. The price just doesn't match the quality, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room had the basics we needed, and the bed was comfortable enough. The air conditioning worked well, which we appreciated. Check-in was easy, and the staff were polite and helpful when we needed them. Central Jetty Motel is conveniently located and reasonably priced, so it works as a decent option for a short stay.

The room was disgusting, and I wished I'd checked the reviews first. It smelled as soon as I walked in. The sheets looked used and dirty, the floor was dirty, and there was a dried spit-looking mark on the wall behind the bed. Towels were thin, with no shower mat or hand or face towels. The basin tap was loose, and there was just one plate and one bowl for two people. The window winder handle was broken, so no air could come in. The bathroom door was new but unpainted and dirty. There was a dangerous, fully powered board sitting on a stand, and the air conditioner had yellowed. Don't be fooled by the advertising photos. It looked decorated with kerbside trash, the worst place I've stayed. AVOID.
