The room had the basics covered, including WiFi that was easy to connect to, and ordering room service was simple. Kylie and the staff were kind and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and well looked after. The beds were comfy with fresh, clean sheets, and the showers had plenty of hot water. There was A/C, a jug, toaster, microwave, TV and bar fridge, plus a skylight that makes it very obvious when morning comes. We didn’t see any creepy crawlies. It’s right by the highway, so if you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might help. The motel lights stay on overnight, so a sleep mask could be useful too. Arcadia Motel made for a lovely, comfortable getaway, and I’d recommend it.

My three young kids and I stayed here while travelling from Brisbane, and it was just what we needed. My daughter was completely taken with the kitty. Thanks for a good stay. I’d recommend it and would come back if my travels bring me this way again.

The food and service were the real standouts, and the prices were very reasonable. Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable, though a little dated. The bed was comfy too.

The owners were lovely, but I don’t think I’ll stay here again. My first visit to the Arcadia was really nice, though this second stay wasn’t horrible, the room just didn’t meet the standard I expected. Cockroaches were climbing the walls, and the room smelled of cigarettes. The bedding had picked up the smell too, so we sprayed deodorant to try to calm it down. There was no hot water either, which wasn’t pleasant.
