The water views from this spectacular location were lovely, but the sites were extremely crowded and quite small, with very awkward access. We had to reverse down a narrow road to reach our campsite, then manoeuvre around caravans and cars everywhere. The toilets were clean, but the showers were filthy, and the doors had huge gaps on both sides, so there was absolutely no privacy.

The camp kitchen and bathrooms were impressive, and the cabin was spotless and comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional. We stayed in a studio, with just one small drawback: there was hardly any room between the bed and the window. Another 5cm would have made getting out of bed easier. The coastal setting is great, and a walkway makes it an easy stroll into town.

The park is one of my favourites. There’s a private beach, and at low tide you can climb over some rocks into a little cove with a tucked-away beach. The water is amazing for swimming. It’s also close to town, with lovely staff and a beautiful outlook over the water. Love Robe!!

The location is incredible, but our late checkout left a bad impression. One of us woke up sick, so we were 30 minutes late. The staff were pretty aggressive and said someone was coming to our site, even though plenty of sites nearby were free. Caravan parks are usually much friendlier.

The view was the one good part of this park. The owners were rude, the sites weren’t well maintained, and the amenities were dirty. I don’t think they were cleaned at all during our two-night stay. We’d been travelling along the great ocean road, and this was a poor place to finish the trip. The other great parks we stayed at had amazing service and clean, unreal amenities, and cost much less than this rip-off in robe. You can see the view from elsewhere in town, so stay at another park.
