We booked at the last minute and the host was friendly. The place was really clean, accommodated our needs and our baby, and they were super helpful.

The location is great, with shops within walking distance, and the owners are lovely, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The rooms were lovely and clean, and it was the best shower I’ve come across in a motel. The view at the back could use some improvement, but it’s easy to overlook. Sorry to hear they’re leaving in December. Highly recommended.

Booking sites say this place is pet friendly, but they refused to accept my jacketed assistance dog. That’s illegal. The owner was one of the worst people I’ve met, and the service was absolutely poor. The place looked like a run-down dump, so I’m sort of glad we didn’t stay.

The owner was polite and very helpful. Enthusiasts might enjoy snapping a picture of the 63' Matchless Motorcycle in reception, which is in great nick. It’s an easy place to find, enter and leave, with off-street parking. Just right if all you need is somewhere to sleep. This is our go-to affordable, no-fuss accommodation in Rockhampton.

I’ve stayed here several times over the years and had a great experience each time. Tonight I broke down in Rocky and needed a room unexpectedly. One quick call and it was sorted. The gentleman behind the counter has always been friendly, and tonight was no exception. The rooms have everything I need: a hot shower, cold aircon and a clean bed. Thank you, Best One Motel. You’ve done it again!
