Villa Capri Motel

The pool was lovely and refreshing, with towels ready on the fence. The rooms were great and the beds comfortable. There were even extra single beds tucked underneath the single beds. Cutlery was all provided too. I’d definitely recommend visiting for a few days.

A handy spot across the road from the leagues club, with lovely customer service. We stopped overnight and enjoyed the small pool, which was a great temperature for NQ weather. Pool towels were provided. Just keep in mind that the upper level is only reached by stairs.

For an overnight stop, it’s clean enough and has the basics, and it was the best of the three Rockhampton motels I’ve tried. That isn’t saying much, since some of them are simply terrible. The rooms feel old and tired, much like a typical motel, so don’t be swayed by the name or four stars. If you like motel stays, I’d recommend it as one of the better options here. I’d personally rather stay in a proper modern hotel.

Simone, the manager, and the rest of the staff were very nice and helped with anything we needed. The location was convenient for shops, and our room was clean, tidy, and had the amenities we needed. A good stopover.
