We had a lovely, relaxing stay in these spacious cottages, tucked away somewhere quiet. The owners were friendly, the cottages had well-equipped kitchens, and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend.

The room was so spacious and had everything we needed. I honestly didn't expect the place to be this nice, and the lady at the counter was lovely. Such a great weekend stay.

Michael was friendly and gave us fresh pomegranate to sample. He said the fruit keeps in the fridge for six months, and that plants bought in August can produce 300-400 pomegranates at home. A plant costs $170. We went during harvest season, March and April, to pick the huge, juicy fruit straight from the trees. They were $4 each and absolutely worth it.

We called ahead, but nobody mentioned that the trees had already been harvested. There were only tiny, damaged fruits left on them, and $4 each felt shocking for that quality. The staff weren't welcoming either, so the visit was very disappointing.

The place is peaceful and beautiful, and the staff were really nice. Still, driving two hours each way for about 20 minutes of pomegranate picking felt hard to justify. A little cafe, garden, or playground for kids would make the trip more of an experience. Pomegranates were $4 AUD each, and March to May is the best season. Apart from that, everything was great!
