Litchfield Tourist Park - Campground

We had a really nice time here. The owners were friendly and gave us lots of useful information, and the cabin we booked was comfortable. Its A/C worked really well in the heat, and the shade over the cabin helped too. The grounds are well kept, with lovely trees, wild birds, and even some wallabies. There's laundry with dryers, and the park is right beside Litchfield National Park, making it easy to drive to all the attractions.

Our car was stolen last night, with cash inside it also taken. Police throughout Katherine are helping us track down the suspects. This was a serious, exceptional situation and completely outside our control, but our refund request was refused. We were upset by the lack of empathy and flexibility while dealing with something so distressing. We feel the situation called for more understanding and a reasonable solution. Thanks for understanding.

The owners are clearly passionate and invested, and they've done a great job giving the property its own character. Everything was well organised and helpful, and the grounds were beautiful and immaculately kept. We stayed in cabin #2, which had loads of character and thoughtful details. Before that, we'd spent two nights at the very overpriced Accor hotel in Kakadu and I was feeling pretty dark about NT. This place restored my faith in the area.

The nicest place I stayed during my time in NT, in a beautiful cabin in a quiet spot about 10 km from Litchfield National Park. I love Australia and little adventures, so it was a super cool stay. The radio system seemed cool too, though I never got around to using it. Next time ;)
