The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We had dinner in the dining room, which felt very sophisticated and classy, with a great choice of meals and very large portions. The room was small, comfortable and modern. I was completely surprised by how stylish and well presented the hotel was. I’d recommend staying and dining here.

The chefs deserve credit for delicious food, generous portions and just the right pace between courses. All of us had a very successful day at our Mother's Day 3 course lunch at the Criterion hotel. Mums were welcomed with a complimentary drink, a lovely touch, and Chad's Mimosa is now my favourite go-to 🤗. The staff were attentive, especially the young lady.

We arrived at 11.30 am for the Mother's Day luncheon with its set menu, but dessert was only served at 3.pm. Service was non existent, the food was very poor, and even the tables weren’t set nicely. Extremely disappointed. We won’t be back.

Dan looked after us as our waiter and did a great job. It was a really nice evening with friends, and every course, from entree to dessert, was well above expectations. These guys are putting in the effort, and it shows. They deserve support.

We had a lovely lunch there two years ago, but this year's food was ordinary to poor. I don't know what changed in the meantime, but I won't be returning and would recommend going elsewhere.
