We loved Karen’s travel memorabilia and the natural light throughout the cottage. The front and back courtyards were wonderful too. The little kitchen, Nespresso coffee machine and ability to do laundry were all great.

We loved our stay and didn't want to leave. The cottage was gorgeous and roomy, with great decor, lots of thoughtful touches and excellent amenities. It was comfortable and smelled amazing. The claw foot bath was a real treat.

We loved our stay. The cosy setup feels luxurious, yet it's functional and enjoyable, and Karen was friendly and ready to help if needed. Sandy Bay is perfectly placed for an easy stroll to the shops, cafes and restaurants, with easy access to Battery Point, Salamanca and Elizabeth St.

The location worked perfectly for visiting family in Sandy Bay, and it was peaceful, away from the busy city streets. Hobart is a 20 minute walk or a short bus ride. This charming vintage cottage has a spacious bathroom with a clawfoot bath, a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed, a separate lounge, and a small kitchenette with the essentials for cooking. It's full of memorabilia and quirky decor, with books and board games for when the weather closes in. Our hostess was friendly and approachable, and made sure we had what we needed. A lovely option for travellers who want character and more space than a hotel room.
