We had a relaxing stay in this beautiful, classy accommodation. It’s been renovated since we last visited 10 years ago, and the rooms are stylishly decorated to suit the heritage home, with several types to choose from. The garden was a lovely place to sit with a glass of wine. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and they also provided a glass of port. Cathy was friendly and helpful. A couple of things were missing from the room, but the location was great, close to everything. We’d highly recommend staying here.

The communal breakfast setup was lovely, and we enjoyed the reading space and cosy fireplace where guests could mingle. Our room was comfortable, with a well thought out layout, quality furnishings and nice attention to detail. Impressive accommodation.

We loved our room, especially the French doors opening onto the gardens, where we enjoyed a few afternoon drinks and seafood. The included breakfast was just right, with fruit, cereal, toast, cold meat, cheeses and quiche. The room itself was beautiful and welcoming, and we loved this boutique hotel so much we wished we could take it with us. It was a highlight of our Tassie stay. The location was convenient, close to Hobart central and across the road from the casino and restaurant. The lady running things day to day was welcoming and eager to please, though unfortunately I didn’t get her name.

The rooms in this beautiful old building were lovely, and breakfast each morning was a great start to the day. It’s about 2.5km from the city centre, or roughly a 30 minute walk if you like walking. We’d definitely stay again.

Breakfast was fresh and lovely, and the whole weekend felt like a treat. We booked the basic room and found it really comfortable. The location is handy on a main road, but you’d hardly know it once you’re inside. We barely noticed the other guests until breakfast. Thanks, Rivulet!
