The location is lovely, but the shack needs a lot of work. The bed was very comfy, the sea view through the trees was great, and the kitchen was well stocked. But the oven is old and outdated and needs replacing. The deck is a good size and a terrific spot for afternoon drinks and sunset watching. The geckos are cute, but their poo isn’t! I imagine the place would be a furnace in summer. We came in May, when it was chilly, and could have used a heater on the cooler mornings. There also needs to be somewhere to hang clothes. It might take away from the appeal, but it’s necessary. The idea of an old beach shack being appealing is fun, but with building and health regulations, this place wouldn’t meet even standard building regulations. Thank you.
