We had the family room, with two single beds in one room and a double/queen in the main room. There’s a two-seater couch in the main area and plenty of space. The bathroom is large, with a double shower and a full-size deep bath; the toilet is separate. Everything was very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable and firm. A very quiet motel.

The fridge was leaking, and the curtains left little gaps that didn’t cover everything, but it was still a great stay. The bathroom was clean and modern, and the sheets were clean. There was a couch and lots of TV channels too.

The bathroom needs work: paint had peeled off the ceiling, the shower was mouldy, and its door was hard to open and wouldn’t close properly while I was showering. The beds were comfortable, but the old-style air conditioner needed cleaning and I woke up with allergies.

Never again. The shower head might as well have been hanging from the moon, the ceramic shelf was broken and dangerous, and the bathroom tap was broken too. There were holes in the walls and it was very noisy.

I’d just arrived in Shepparton and was worried I might have nowhere to stay. The owner welcomed me with a glass of milk, which felt really warm. The room was tidy, clean and comfortable. I’m grateful this place was so good.
