There was visible mould on the ceiling, and the shower floor was dirty, though there were toiletries and clean towels. The bed itself was clean but old, lumpy, and had creaking springs. The pillows were hard and lumpy too. There wasn’t any water in the fridge. The room is right on the main road, and reception didn’t help us move somewhere quieter. I wouldn’t stay again.

The room was tidy and had modern furnishings, and I liked having a spacious kitchen and a pleasant courtyard. It was quiet and good value for the price. Check-in was easy too. I had a wonderful stay at Southgate Motor Inn and would recommend it.

I needed accommodation for my family for three nights and four days while they came down for a wedding. The man at reception hung up on me, then didn’t answer when I called back. When I went to the office, he wouldn’t let me speak to management or give me their phone number or email address. His manner was very rude. It’s sad to run into someone with such bad manners over the holidays, especially when my family was ready to bring the business. I’d like management to contact me so we can discuss it.

A quiet room and comfortable mattress made for a great overnight stay. The rooms and ensuites were clean and modern, and the motel was well laid out and maintained inside and out. I’d recommend it, and it’ll be my first choice when I’m back in Shepparton.

I stayed three nights and the room was cleaned every day. The place was clean and well kept, with white linen and comfortable beds and pillows. I didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked tidy and clean. Highly recommended.
