We’d been on the road all day and needed dinner, so we stopped at the Imperial Hotel because it looked friendly and inviting. The meal was exceptional, and I had enough left to take home. Emma greeted us and was so enthusiastic, welcoming and friendly. She was professional and informative too, and her smile and kind words were just what we needed on the way home. The hotel’s management should be proud to have her as a frontline representative. Well done to Emma and the rest of the staff at this stand-out business.

We arrived just before lunch service started on Saturday and had gluten-free pizza. It was quiet at first, but people kept coming in once the food service began. The place is nice inside and out, with plenty of space for large groups. There’s an open outdoor area as well as covered seating.

We came back later for the band, and they were bloody awesome, playing good 80s music. Earlier, I’d caught up with school friends here, like we do every year. The food and service are always great. It’s in a great spot, with rooms available or a motel straight across the road.

The vegetables had a little crunch and tasted really fresh, nothing like the soggy pub veg I usually avoid. My meat was cooked perfectly, and the chips were probably the best I’ve had. Everything was spot on. I highly recommend this place, I’ve never had a bad meal here and the food is unreal 😻😻

Cathy and Cherie made us feel so welcome and looked after, they really went above and beyond. The meal was just as good: tender, flavourful steak and vegetables cooked perfectly, next-level cheese and bacon garlic bread, and a sensational Imperial Works Burger. Every bite was a hit. We’ll definitely be back!
