James and Waylin did a brilliant job with the battered fish. It was cooked just right and tasted like home in NZ. Proper comfort kai, absolutely delicious, and I couldn’t fault it.

The location worked perfectly, and the whole place had a cozy, relaxing feel. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The staff were welcoming from the moment I arrived, friendly and attentive throughout. Great value for money. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

We had a good time eating at the tavern. The chicken Parma and fish and chips were pretty good. The room was very clean and comfortable too, and I slept well.

The cold beer was good, but the wine selection was terrible, especially with a bottle shop next door. The food was average, and the chicken schnitzel was overcooked and seemed to come straight from the freezer. The online menu didn’t match what was in store. For the location, it’s not bad, but it could be so much better. Sorry, there won’t be a next time.
