Hotel Diana South Brisbane

The only hitch was that our coach couldn't access the street, so it dropped us at the Woolloongabba Hotel Diana. Staff from both hotels worked together to move us and all our gear to the accommodation. Even so, the location suited us well, within easy walking distance of the competition venue, food places, shops, and Southbank. The young kids also loved the complimentary fruit and snacks from reception. We had a large group booking of over 70 people. Carmina, Kirsty, and Yvonne were lovely and went out of their way to fit everyone in and meet everyone's needs. The apartments were excellent, spacious, and well equipped.

We stayed for a week and it was a good choice. The rooms were big, clean, and quiet, and it's close to public transport and within walking distance of Southbank. All the staff were super helpful. There's also a decent coffee machine in the lobby for a caffeine fix. We'll definitely stay again.

The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, and the front desk service was fantastic. Getting around was easier than the approach first suggested: the hotel sits near the hospital's back car park entrance, which feels a little odd, but a short cut through the dead-end street leads to express buses. South Bank train station, the South Bank area, and bridges into the CBD are all an easy walk away. It exceeded my expectations by a lot, A++.

The people here made the stay. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, from the welcoming reception team at check-in to the cheerful, attentive housekeeping staff. We felt well looked after throughout, and would recommend Hotel Diana South Bank to anyone wanting that kind of welcome in Brisbane.
