Manfield Country Bruny Island

Wina gave us clear instructions and lots of information about both the house and Bruny. The property has an outdoor brick pizza oven, fire pit, and excellent barbecue, as well as a modern kitchen, wood stove in the lounge, heating in every room, washer, and dryer. The appliances are excellent, the beds very comfortable, and the linens great. It’s a gorgeous sandstone house on private acreage, with abundant wildlife and a wide, covered verandah wrapping around the house for watching it all. Nearby are a good cafe and the pub, and it’s an easy drive to the lighthouse, Adventure Bay, Cloudy Bay, and the neck. A wonderful place to stay on Bruny Island, probably the best.

Our three-generation family all loved this beautiful Bruny Island homestead. The house is extremely well appointed, and the setting feels remote and peaceful, with amazing views, wildlife, and birdlife. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time here with the kids. Getting there was easy thanks to the clear instructions, and the relaxing view was amazing. Everything we needed was provided, including a lovely bedroom and fireplace. All the good things, and I’d highly recommend it to others.

This place was perfect for six friends on a special weekend away, and we all had a wonderful stay. The house was super clean, looked just like the photos, and had everything we needed. The host was awesome, accommodating and quick to respond. If you’re after tranquility, privacy, and being surrounded by nature, this is a hidden gem of Bruny Island. The spectacular view was a bonus.
