Motel Kempsey-No Pets Allowed

The area felt pretty rough, and it was actually rather scary. We heard motorbikes, sirens, dogs barking and people fighting all night. A stray dog kept running in and out of the property, and a car was stolen from a house three properties away while we were there. We left a day early. The rooms were tiny too, with barely enough space to walk around the bed. I couldn’t take my shirt off in the bathroom without hitting the walls.

The bathroom’s basic but functional, and the rooms have what you need. The hot water and amazing pressure were just right after a long drive or hard day at work. Whether you’re there overnight or for two months, you’ll find the rooms comfortable. I’d highly recommend Motel Kempsey for business travellers and holidaymakers alike.

The location is good, but the room had a really strong smell. There was hair on the stained linen and on the mattress, and the towels smelled strongly too.

The staff were so friendly and even went above and beyond to post back a bag of things I’d left behind. The room was serviced daily, with clean towels, made beds and the rubbish taken out. It also had a toaster, jug, fridge, plates and cutlery, plus tea, coffee and biscuits. The double room was comfortable, the location was good and the place was affordable. Thanks for sending my things, I hope to see you again.
