We used this as our base for a week of day trips around the Tweed Valley and coast, and the location worked perfectly, close to town and the things we needed. The room was comfortable, cleaned daily, and had the best hot shower I've ever had in a motel. Susie, the owner, was lovely and very helpful. Service and price were 10/10.

After riding the Northern Rivers Rail Trail with my family, it was easy to get into town for a pub meal or coffee in the morning. The motel sits conveniently just off the trail, on the outskirts of town. We found the rooms and beds comfortable, and Susie, the owner, was friendly and helpful. A great little place to stay.

I only had one night here, which was a shame. The room felt perfect, with new furnishings, a clean stone floor, and a big bed with just the right firmness. The new shower has no tub, and the eating setup was handy, with a clean kettle, instant coffee, tea bags, and chocolate. I tried drinking coffee with a tea bag for the first time, and it tasted excellent. I don't sleep with air conditioning, but I could adjust it so no cold air blew on me. Lady Susie was polite and helpful. WiFi was fast, and parking right outside the door was a given. If I'm back in the area, I'll stay here again. Thank you, Susie.
