The swimming pool was out of order while we were there, and the swimming beach is a fair way off, though the location itself is good. We had two sumptuous double beds, plus a shower over the bath, which was nice to have. Parking was available, and the supplied shower products were lovely and 100% vegan.

We got great value from the two-bedroom apartment, which exceeded what we'd expected and worked really well for our circumstances. The location was fantastic too. The staff were lovely and couldn't have been more accommodating. It isn't a five-star hotel, but we'd happily say cheers for such a good stay.

I left after only a couple of hours of a planned two-night stay because the air compressor on my balcony was so loud, and I have tinnitus. The notice clearly said not to turn it off, but I thought it only controlled my room's air conditioning, which I didn't need. I later learned the room opposite depended on it for their aircon, and I understand they would have been upset without it. I hadn't known that was the effect. A man came to my door with heavy knocks, calling loudly for someone to answer and open up. I asked who he was before he introduced himself as Shaun, I think, a manager of some sort. He aggressively asked if I'd turned off the compressor. I said I had and quickly explained about my tinnitus, but he brushed that aside and told me to turn it back on. His tone was like a headmaster scolding a naughty student. There's a way to speak to hotel guests, and that wasn't it. Steer clear of this place.
