The pool setup was a letdown, really tiny, crowded, and poorly maintained. The whole park felt more industrial than relaxing, which makes sense given its location in an industrial area. There’s hardly any grass, with gravel and tar in much of the place, and the rough gravel roads meant the kids couldn’t ride their scooters. Our cabin was old and not especially clean. It’s a strange setup for such a beautiful area as Mudgee. We wouldn’t come back.

We had a great stay with our family of six. The ensuite campsite worked perfectly for us, and the family atmosphere suited our young kids. Even though the park is on the edge of town, the centre is just a couple of minutes away by car, or an easy bike ride. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Mudgee.

We ended up staying longer than planned while our car was being repaired, and the team made it easy for us. Thanks to Steve, Tracy, and Tiana (I think I’ve got the name right). The facilities were kept in first-class condition, with excellent care of the grounds and amenities. It was a good place to be stuck, with buses out front and a reliable taxi service to and from town. A great stay overall.

The cabin was comfortable and clean, and the service was really good. It was a busy park, but people were friendly. We found it a handy base for getting into and out of Mudgee, and it worked well for our weekend.

We had two sites next to each other for one night, right across from the amenities block and camp kitchen. Both were in excellent shape, and it was nice chatting with other guests while we made dinner in the kitchen. Mudgee BIG4 was excellent. There’s also a great coffee place about 240m from the main entrance, though its opening hours seemed to vary. When it was open, it was a nice extra.
