Dooleys Springsure Tavern and Motel

The welcome from the family and staff really made our weekend at Dooley’s Tavern & Motel in Springsure, where we were in town for the local races. The rooms were spacious, modern, clean, and comfortable, with a roomy shower and strong water pressure. The air conditioning could freeze hell over. We also loved the exceptional food, especially the steak, and the beer was ice cold. This family has run pubs in Queensland for three generations, which makes the warm hospitality no surprise. We even won on the pokies. Great atmosphere and friendly service, and we'll definitely be back.

The food was the biggest bonus at Dooleys. The steaks were sublime, and the garlic prawns were delicious. I've eaten in plenty of five-star places, and this was so good. The room was super clean and comfy, with the best bed I've slept in for a long time. The manager told me the brand, so I'm off to buy one for myself. It's in a perfect spot at the right end of the main street, and the pub pours a mean Guiness. I had the best weekend here for the Sprinsure Races. Thanks, Dooleys, I'll be back.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff friendly, and the food excellent, with generous portions and fresh produce. Some of the best rooms I've stayed in in a country town. Check it out for that old-fashioned hospitality.

We had a fabulous weekend for the St Patrick’s race day. The meals were delicious, and our room was spotless with a comfortable mattress. The accommodation and hotel were great.
