Shops, cafes and the town centre are all an easy walk away. Kate in the office was amazing and went well out of her way to make sure we had a good stay. Our room was spotless, with plenty of space and a fantastic view. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had lots of hot water. The air conditioner was quiet and worked well.

Right in town, though this is a dated budget motel. The room had a fridge, microwave, TV and toaster, and the air conditioning worked. The bed was soft, a bit softer than I like.

Waking up to that view from the window was a lovely surprise. We were in Stanthorpe for an event and got there around 7:30 pm, which was fine after we called ahead. The room was cosy, clean and fresh, and the bed made for a really comfortable night's sleep. It was -2° that weekend, so I would've liked a bit more heat from the heater to take the edge off the cold. Still, we had a great stay.

For a one or two night stop, this place is perfectly fine, and the price feels fair. It's practically in town, with shops within walking distance. We arrived just as reception was closing at seven, but that wasn't an issue. We were given the key and some milk for coffee. The room wasn't big, but it didn't need to be for one night. It was tidy, smelled fresh and was clean. The bed was fine, the pillows were good, and the sheets were crisp. The shower had good pressure too.

The view over the river was lovely, and the location is great. The rooms are small, but clean and tidy.
