The garden was absolutely beautiful, and the location made it easy to walk to food places and the historic buildings around Strathalbyn. The local pool is diagonally opposite. I stayed in the Dawson Room at Strathbourne accommodation / Hamilton House bed and breakfast, a beautiful old home with two guest bedrooms. The bed was very comfortable, and I had my own ensuite, with a shared lounge and dining area. There were lovely quilts and vintage things to look at. Breakfast provisions were generous, and the hosts were lovely. I'd definitely stay again.

The back garden at Hamilton House B & B is beautiful and well worth a wander. It's close to the town's historic features and service facilities. We found the place exceptionally cosy and comfortable, and our hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast provisions were fresh, tasty, and plentiful. We had a lovely stay at this Strathalbyn B & B and highly recommend it.

The gardens, decor, and hospitality were all pristine, and the town centre was just a short, easy walk away. I enjoyed the breakfast offerings each day, especially the delicious brownie. One night we stayed in and watched movies from the curious DVD collection on the bookshelf in our room. A perfect getaway spot. I'll definitely stay again.

Joy and Chris were perfect hosts. They live out the back and were completely unobtrusive. We also had a huge dining room and lounge to use, full of antique curiosities, with a decanter of port and chocolates beside it. The bedroom looked out over an immaculate front garden. The Lady Jayne room at Hamilton House felt like a little capsule of yesteryear. It was spacious but cosy, with a comfortable bed and plenty of room even with the large table and chairs. The air conditioning was perfect, and the kitchenette was packed with everything you could want. Breakfast provisions were amazing. The bathroom had a bath and shower and was perfect for two. Everything was so clean. Highly recommended, and we'd definitely stay again. 10/10.

The owners went out of their way to make our stay special, and I'll always remember our time there. It was also where I proposed to my partner. Strathbourne is a gorgeous B&B in a beautiful town, and I'd highly recommend it.
