The food was great, and the rest of the staff were good, though the golf staff were average. The room was okay, except for hammer drilling in the room next door for two days. I'd only come back for the food. 2 out of 10.

We don't play golf, but Murray Downs Resort is still worth a stay. The pool area is brilliant for kids and families, and the accommodation is fine. The bistro is quite nice, the food has always been okay though it's not five-star, and the beer is freezing cold. There's a good atmosphere inside, with big screens showing cricket and other sport. Staff can be a bit over the top about kids being anywhere near the bar. That's a stupid NSW thing, but how they communicate it makes a difference.

The pool was a highlight, and we absolutely loved it. We stayed as a family for a week, and when we reported a small issue in our room, it was dealt with straight away. Mick was great to deal with, as was Deb, the lovely cleaning lady. The rooms could use some renovation. Thanks for the stay.

The set-up was great, with plenty of room, and the staff were fantastic. My only small complaints were the very lumpy, hard beds and the shower water temperature, which kept changing.

I had a very hard time sleeping because the bed was so hard. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable too. A comfortable mattress overlay and new pillows would make a difference. I'd be hesitant to stay again unless they made those improvements.
