The location was great, and I really liked the pool, sauna and gym. Having a small kitchen and laundry was handy too. The room was extremely narrow, though, and the rollout couch was uncomfortable. The dishwasher caused a massive leak, and I couldn't get hold of anyone about it until checkout. A softer carpet would help make the place more comfortable. I don't think it's a good fit for three people. If they fixed a few things, I might stay again.

We got into the room early, which let my family rest after a long flight. But on that first day we found a cockroach, and when we returned around 10 pm there were more and more of them. A staff member came after 11 pm to spray the kitchen and washroom, then treated the room again the next day. Still, we found lots more when we got back around 10 pm. We couldn't stay after that. My kids and the rest of the family were scared, so we eventually moved to another hotel. Worst apartment ever.

The room was clean, nicely furnished and came with free WiFi, and the CBD location is handy for both trains and buses. It would have been a four star stay if the maintenance had been better. The fridge was on but didn't cool, so after two nights our milk had turned into something like yoghurt. The toaster didn't work, the bedside lamp had no bulb, and the living room clock was missing its battery.

It was so cramped we kept tripping over each other, and the view was tiny for what we paid. Our room hadn't been cleaned when we arrived, so we had to leave for 30 minutes while that was done. The window handle was broken, and the place badly needed paint and new decor. It wasn't cheap, either. We usually stay at the Meriton, and I won't be coming back here. Also, be ready to carry your bags along a really busy street to reach the apartment. I hope people don't waste their money here.

I paid in full, then couldn't travel because of covid-19 and the border closures. I told the hotel as soon as I knew I couldn't come and asked for a full refund. Neither the hotel nor Booking.com, which has tried contacting them since March, has ever got back to me.
