Broomelea Bed & Breakfast

We loved our time at Broomelea. Bryan & Denise were attentive, the house and gardens are beautiful, and breakfast was delicious with several options. The train station is conveniently close, too. We actually liked Leura more than Katoomba.

The owners have thought of everything, and the place feels so warm and homely. Its heritage character is gorgeous and the location is great. We had the spa room with the fireplace, and it was absolutely worth it. There was room for a couch as well as the bed, making it perfect for a winter evening with a good book and the complementary sherry. Nothing to fault.

I’d happily return to Broomelea and recommend it to friends visiting the Blue Mountains. Bryan and Denise were lovely hosts, with great suggestions for hikes and things to do around Leura and the Blue Mountains. Our room looked out onto greenery and felt private. The four poster bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home, and there were lots of thoughtful extras, including an open wood fire. Breakfast was cooked each day, with plenty of options, fresh fruit and beautiful tea service.

For my birthday, my partner picked the room with the spa and fireplace, and it was so romantic. We loved it enough to extend our stay at Broomelea B&B by another night. Breakfast was delicious, and the owners even made cookies for the guests. The walks around Leura are lovely. It’s sad that the owners are selling the business after 19 years, and I wish them all the best in whatever comes next.
