The Hawkesbury waterfront setting is beautiful and feels one of a kind. The house itself is stunning, with everything you might need, and it manages to feel cosy as well as luxurious. We had a perfect holiday here, whether for a couple or a bigger group of friends and family. I couldn't recommend it more.

The hosts and support staff were consistently helpful, professional and thorough. We had a long weekend at Calabash Lodge for my wife's birthday, and there was plenty to enjoy, from the little powered boat and canoes to the fishing rods, crab pots and ride on tops. The household setup was just as complete. We cooked a range of meals and found everything we needed in the kitchen, even a micro-plane I'd brought along as backup. The lodge sits right on the river, and the design and finish are to a very high standard. We loved how the steel casement windows frame the water from the lounge, dining area and kitchen. The deep bath overlooking the river was another favourite. I don't think you'll find a better accommodation option anywhere.
